Over the last 30 years, Spacewise has developed strong relationships a large number of Butchers across the UK, leading our team to have a solid understanding of the storage delivery challenges often faced by this industry.
Spacewise containers provide the perfect storage environment for fresh food including fruit, vegetables, dairy, and meat. We understand the storage challenges faced by butchers, including the increase in demand for meat during seasonal peaks such as Easter and Christmas. We have developed bespoke short-term rental agreements to help support businesses during these periods. Our freezer containers are a secure, mobile, and cost-effective way to maintain the condition of your perishable stock.
We are also familiar with the various delivery obstacles that commonly need solving when Butchers are situated in busy locations and have limited floor space. A project that we recently worked on involved a 300-year-old building that had been in the companies family for decades. It could not be modified to provide the storage space that the Butchers needed to grow their business. A large residential area was located directly behind the property, meaning that installing temporary storage was challenging owing to the close proximity of various buildings, walls, electricity lines and cars. Once installed the units needed to be as quiet as possible in order to accommodate the neighbours. To overcome this situation, the Spacewise team installed shipping containers that are built to function with a low noise output. They also completed a site survey before delivery, to ensure that the installation wasn't disruptive to the neighbourhood.
